Founded in 2024, WanderinGwyneth Adventures is a boutique tour company dedicated to culturally immersive, experience-driven journeys through Morocco and Egypt (with more destinations to come!). We design itineraries that move beyond the checklist—inviting travelers into meaningful encounters with local communities, traditions, and landscapes through hands-on experiences, storytelling, and insider access. From sharing meals with families and artisans to exploring heritage sites with expert guides, each trip is intentionally crafted to foster genuine connection and deeper understanding.

About Me
Hi there, I’m Gwyneth aka WanderinGwyneth. What used to be a running joke from friends about wondering where Gwyneth was wandering this month, turned a love of travel into a business! I’ve been an anthropologist for the past 10 years and living and working in Egypt and Morocco for the past 15 years as a professor, a documentary producer, writer, and a National Geographic tour expert.
After years of friends coming to visit me abroad, I realized I had a knack for showing people the destination sites, the wonders, and the fun off-the-beaten track aspects of my favorite places! I want to take you on a journey where you become more than a tourist – you become a traveler!
I’m inspired by the famous Moroccan explorer Ibn Battuta: “Traveling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller. Traveling offers you a hundred roads to adventure, and gives your heart wings!” Travel changes our perspectives, it allows us to tell stories of our adventures, and by going on a trip with WanderinGwyneth it will hopefully dare you to wander more!
