Founded in 2024, WanderinGwyneth Adventures is a boutique tour company dedicated to culturally immersive, experience-driven journeys through Morocco and Egypt — with more destinations to come. We design itineraries that move beyond the checklist, inviting travelers into meaningful encounters with local communities, traditions, and landscapes through hands-on experiences, storytelling, and insider access.

From sharing meals with families and artisans to exploring heritage sites with expert guides, each trip is intentionally crafted to foster genuine connection and deeper understanding. We don't want you to just see these places — we want you to feel them.

At the heart of every trip is a commitment to responsible travel. We prioritize partnerships with locally owned businesses, guides, and producers, ensuring that tourism dollars directly support the communities we visit. By keeping our groups small and our experiences thoughtful, we create space for authentic engagement while contributing to the sustainability of local economies.

The result is travel that feels personal, impactful, and unforgettable — for both our guests and the people who welcome them.

Gwyneth Talley

National Geographic Expert · Anthropologist · Arabic Speaker

Hi there, I'm Gwyneth — aka WanderinGwyneth. What started as a running joke from friends about wondering where Gwyneth was wandering this month turned a love of travel into a business.

I've been an anthropologist for the past 10 years and have been living and working in Egypt and Morocco for the past 15 years — as a professor, documentary producer, writer, and National Geographic tour expert.

After years of friends coming to visit me abroad, I realized I had a knack for showing people the destination sites, the wonders, and the fun off-the-beaten-track aspects of my favorite places. I want to take you on a journey where you become more than a tourist — you become a traveler.

"Traveling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller." — Ibn Battuta
