Day 1 · Thu, Feb 26 · Cairo

Arrive in the bustling capital of Egypt, where you’ll be welcomed and escorted to your deluxe hotel. The evening is yours to relax, recharge, and perhaps enjoy your first taste of Cairo on your own.

Day 2 · Fri, Feb 27 · Cairo

Step back in time at Saqqara’s Step Pyramid, the world’s first monumental stone structure, before a garden lunch of Egyptian flavors. Continue to the Red and Bent Pyramids at Dashur, marveling at the bold experiments that led to Egypt’s iconic pyramid form.

Day 3 · Sat, Feb 28 · Cairo

Stand in awe at the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid and Sphinx — wonders that have captivated travelers for millennia. In the afternoon, taste your way through Cairo’s vibrant streets on a guided food tour that brings local flavors to life.

Day 4 · Sun, Mar 1 · Luxor

Fly to Luxor, the heart of ancient Thebes, and explore the colossal Karnak Temple, with its forest of towering columns. Later, wander Luxor Temple and the Avenue of the Sphinx before enjoying free time to relax by the Nile.

Day 5 · Mon, Mar 2 · Luxor & Embarkation

Descend into the painted tombs of the Valley of the Kings and stand before the towering Colossi of Memnon. Visit Ramses III’s mortuary temple at Medinat Habu and a traditional alabaster workshop before boarding your graceful dahabiya for a Nile sailing adventure.

Day 6 · Tue, Mar 3 · Cruising the Nile

Float above the Nile Valley on an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride, then visit the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut and the mighty Ramesseum. Back onboard, watch life unfold along the riverbanks as you sail through the Esna locks, tea in hand.

Day 7 · Wed, Mar 4 · Edfu & Kom Ombo

Discover the Temple of Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved sanctuaries dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. Sail on to Kom Ombo, where a rare double temple honors both Sobek and Horus, and see mummified crocodiles at the fascinating Crocodile Museum.

Day 8 · Thu, Mar 5 · Aswan

Glide across the Nile to Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis and set on a picturesque island. Visit the Unfinished Obelisk to glimpse ancient stonework in progress, then share a warm evening of food and culture in a Nubian village.

Day 9 · Fri, Mar 6 · Abu Simbel & Return to Cairo

Fly south to the monumental temples of Abu Simbel, where Ramses II’s colossal statues gaze over the desert. After a boxed lunch, return to Cairo for a restful evening and dinner at your hotel.

Day 10 · Sat, Mar 7 · Cairo

Explore the timeless churches of Coptic Cairo before wandering the vibrant alleys of Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Cap the day with sweeping views from the Citadel and a shared Ramadan iftar, a festive evening meal marking the breaking of the fast.

Day 11 · Sun, Mar 8 · Cairo

Trace Egypt’s history at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, home to the royal mummies. In the afternoon, step inside the Grand Egyptian Museum to marvel at Tutankhamun’s treasures before gathering for a celebratory farewell dinner.

Day 12 · Mon, Mar 9 · Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport. Depart with memories of temples, timeless landscapes, and the magic of traveling Egypt during Ramadan.
